I usually grow a small patch of these from seed every year because I like the flowers and the bluish green ferny foliage.

In reply to your question about my Port Carling shot, no! Never use a polariser.

But I was entranced by the colour of the September sky in conjunction with the whites and greys in the scene!

Very pretty flower, very pretty picture!
I think we have astors down here in Texas. They grow along the roads and in the fields.
I did not know that dog or the owner. They were standing outside a convenience store at Giddings, Texas, and I asked if I could take the dog's picture. It was ok.
