I have decided to join the blogging craze. I am looking forward to taking a moment to find out a little more about the plants I have been photographing. I hope to explore all aspects of plants, flowers, trees and other garden related topics. Sorry about having to watermark the photos but there are a lot of people using them without permission.

Sunset at the Mountain Village Chrysanthemum
Sunset at the Mountain Village Chrysanthemum Wordless Wednesday 山村の日没
Thanks for posting these beauties; they always lift my spirits. Is Mountain Village a place? I hope you got to see my photos of the Marin Chrysanthemum Show. My own plants have several buds and one is unfurling. Looks like it will be magenta with gold tips. I will take a new photo tomorrow. There have been three rain storms to far as it is so late in the growing season and they need to hurry up and bloom. I heard that King's Mums is being moved to Sunset? something garden in Oregon. That is good news indeed.
