This seems to be an under
used very hardy perennial. The bottlebrush type flowers are borne in spikes
providing a great vertical accent in the border. The ‘normal’ color is kind of
a pinky-purple and the white type is seen less. For the most part they are low
maintenance plants that don’t need staking and are reliable summer bloomers.
