Tasmanian Tree Fern
Dicksonia Antarctica
(dik-so-nee-uh)
If you are here for Wordless Wednesday please scroll down to the next post. Thanks for visiting.
Tree Fern is one of my favorite plants. They are graceful, easy to cultivate and beautiful. I took this photo with a 5 MP Nikon Coolpix 5400. This photo underwent a little photoshop work to help bring out the color.
This is a ‘f’ace sculpture I took down in Florida. I don’t think I would have one in my garden but it looked good in the tropical setting. I do know not to underestimate what a little bit of whimsy can bring to the garden. It is sometimes just what is needed. This piece was actually very intricate and well put together.
Here is my ABC Blogroll. If you want to be included please leave a comment to that effect. This project has grown exponentially and it is tough to keep up.

I've never tried growing a fern but it seems to be very popular to have them in hanging baskets on a porch. Your photos are great!

Green colors is difficult to paint, but you have caught it great by your camera

Now you're really talking to me, Chris. Ferns are my 'ultimate' favorite! If I had to choose one plant in my garden, it would be earth's greatest gift ... the fern (and the forest).
That is a beautiful picture of the ferns. That face is wonderful too.
I would love to have that face to brighten up my garden!
That face is a delight, isn't it--in someoen else's yard! I looked for some ferns to add to my F collection as there are some in the area, but I decided I had enough as it was. Come by to see.
Both of your lovely photos are very vibrant.
Your fern photo is 'f'antastic!
Love the fern, what a beautiful photo!
What happened to Molly?
I like the ferns. Robert Frost said, "Nature's first gold is green." Hope all is well with you Digi.
The face sculpture is a little too cheery for me although it might be fun to have it in your garden during the dead of winter.
Those ferns are absolutely beautiful.
cool segway from fern to face
Thanks everyone who visited and left a comment.
The Fern was a good one - a much undervalued plant
I am a bit late in commenting, but better late than never!
