I have decided to join the blogging craze. I am looking forward to taking a moment to find out a little more about the plants I have been photographing. I hope to explore all aspects of plants, flowers, trees and other garden related topics. Sorry about having to watermark the photos but there are a lot of people using them without permission.

Hi Chris, your last lot of pictures have got a very English feel to them, the only wat i could tell the difference was that the sun was shining...
Cheers Mark
Mark,
You people have had a spot of rain from what I have heard. Old Westbury Gardens had a distinctive English feel. I would love to visit England but since our currency is in the dumps right now I probably won't make it.
LOL Mark.
I love the form of the unknown rose...reminds me of my climbing Compassion (which smells gorgeous).
Hi Ruth,
That Mark is a funny guy, isn't he? I love that GIF you have that writes your name.
Hi Chris,
I try my best, I'll lend you a fiver(about 10 dollars and climbing) if it would help you visit this wonderful place..
Thanks for the fiver, Mark. It is a start. I actually lived in England for awhile two different times. Once when I was younger in Weybridge, Surrey where I went to first and second grade and then for a year as an adult in Hammersmith. Loved it both times! The last time I visited your great country was 2005. My friend from Somerset arranged a private tour of Highgrove House for me (he knows someone who works with the horses there). I also went to Westonbirt that same trip. Pure Horticultural bliss for me.
Hi Chris, sound like you have been about a bit and to places that i havn't, if you ever venture up to Shropshire I would gradly show you around and make you a nice cup of tea....
Mark that sounds good. A pint of Ale is more my style ;-) Same goes for you, if you are in the NYC area look me up.
