Very pretty, DF. The only NYC parade I ever was at was the Halloween Parade in Greenwich Village in 2003 (daughter, Karen, ran the NYC Marathon that year).
Happy WW!
..
BTW, I must have put the wrong link, the one with Nebraska snow pictures.
Sorry, the correct WW is
http://jimmiehov6.blogspot.com/
It has my 'bar hopping' photos.

Correct on Dublin! We only spent an afternoon there (Dublin, not just the bar), I would come back for more.
The bar, or pub, food is great though! At at those several times while we were in the British Isles May and September this year.

Very cool! And colourful too.

I love Chinese dragons... and don't even get me started about their food... :-)

Very striking, slightly intimidating, amazingly colourful.

Really enjoying your blog, flowers are such a beautiful gift from nature. I always think their mortality is what makes them so special...it's fleeting.

I absolutely adore this photo. The colors are remarkably vivid. Gorgeously shot!

My WW contribution is now posted here:

This week, I'm also participating in an online effort to help find a young woman who went missing in Montreal. If you know anyone who lives in this region, I hope you'll drop by my blog and follow the link.

Thanks so much, and happy WW!

Very exciting & lots of movement!

How colorful! Nice capture since those things move so fast through the parade. Those red eyes look like flames might be coming out of its mouth soon.

An awesome shot in motion, very nice one that I can relate to Chinese New Year.

I came back to see this again. Really magnificent. Have you considered doing a study of dragons?

Solstice greetings and may your year be brimming with new photos and light.
