I have decided to join the blogging craze. I am looking forward to taking a moment to find out a little more about the plants I have been photographing. I hope to explore all aspects of plants, flowers, trees and other garden related topics. Sorry about having to watermark the photos but there are a lot of people using them without permission.
This is really lovely. I like the color, detail and composition. I have never asked and I wonder what camera you are using. I will check on opanda next.
I see some first time visitors here and I would like say welcome and thanks for the comments.
Hin, thanks again. I use Nikon all the way, baby ;-). I have a D70s and for 90% of my shots I use the 60mm/2.8 Micro-Nikkor lens. I have a couple of pretty good Sigma lens including a 17-70 and 28-200mm, both with macro. For Point and shoot I use a Nikon Coolpix 8400, which is a 8mp with a really wide 24mm on the wide end. It has an ED lens which is Nikon's higher grade of lens (Extra Low Dispersion glass). It is a nice camera for a P&S. I also have a Coolpix 5400 but don't use it too much anymore.
I don't know how I stumbled into this site, I am speechless. I've been here for hours. This is truly poetry in pictures! Thank you for this experience. Diane in Asheboro, NC
