South African Iris

Noracea polystachya

I think these are some sort of Iris from South Africa. There wasn’t a stitch of information about them on the internet. The nice blue color with a little white and yellow was very attractive.

Here is Sunday’s bonus flower

Daylily
Hemerocallis 'Russian Easter’

Try this site from South Africa's National Biodiversity Institute. It does look like one of our Moraeas to me.

I would have said it looks like flag, a relative of iris, but I am not really sure. I love the colours, no matter what! And the daylily is simply so sensuous!
