I have decided to join the blogging craze. I am looking forward to taking a moment to find out a little more about the plants I have been photographing. I hope to explore all aspects of plants, flowers, trees and other garden related topics. Sorry about having to watermark the photos but there are a lot of people using them without permission.

What a great flower for Halloween.
Well done!
Interesting flower. It looks so different from the usual Chrysanthemum I see around here.
Looks like something that might eat you while you're taking its photo! Wonderful shot.
Spider mums just might be the spunkiest flowers ever.
Wow! This is the first time I have seen this kind of flower.
Happy WW!

Great shot!
happy ww!
I can see how it might have gotten its name. The long strands are very interesting - would be cool to think of a human-sized structure like that.
Geez...that is one spooky flower! Are you sure it is a flower? However...you captured it beautifully!
I loved the photo WOW, I've never seen a Spider Chrysanthemum
Happy WW!
You can really tell how it got its names! Excellent.
Thanks everyone.
