I have decided to join the blogging craze. I am looking forward to taking a moment to find out a little more about the plants I have been photographing. I hope to explore all aspects of plants, flowers, trees and other garden related topics. Sorry about having to watermark the photos but there are a lot of people using them without permission.

Wide Angle Dahlia
Wide Angle Dahlia Shot with a Sigma 24mm/f 1.8 EX DG Aspherical Macro lens Nikon D70s Wordless Wednesday
Beautiful...and the "About Face" rose below...absolutely breathtaking!
My Wednesday entry is posted...it is Halloween black & white...with color added here and there. Come by if you can find time, I'd love to have you visit with me today. Here is where you'll find my photos shared! I also have a Halloween TREAT for you on my sidebar if you care to grab and run with it. :o)
My grandfather always raised dahlias and what a production! He lived in Pittsburgh and they wintered over in the basement. Wish I had more of an interest in what he was doing when I was younger. Another orange bloom eh? :-)

Glad to see your D70s is still doing well for you. That was (and is) a great camera.
Also, I might suggest that lens to a friend who is wanting a macro but not a brand name.
Lovely -- and I really like the rose just below. Great fall colors.
Beautiful shot. Great clarity. The colors are lovely for fall too.
Happy WW~
Beautiful and sunny so bright! for two days it has been dreary and gray and depressing, this was wonderful to look at!
you pic looks so autumnal, great shot!
I enjoyed my visit on Wordless Wednesday!
Beautiful picture, the flower forms a perfect circle.
(Circles are the theme of our WW as well)
