I have decided to join the blogging craze. I am looking forward to taking a moment to find out a little more about the plants I have been photographing. I hope to explore all aspects of plants, flowers, trees and other garden related topics. Sorry about having to watermark the photos but there are a lot of people using them without permission.

Wordless Wednesday ~ Tuesday Edition
Jackson Pollock. (American, 1912-1956) One: Number 31, 1950
First Picture: Taken at the MoMa, NYC It is an enormous painting
Jackson Pollock. (American, 1912-1956) One: Number 31, 1950 Oil and enamel on unprimed canvas 8' 10" x 17' 5 " (269.5 x 530.8 cm) Sidney and Harriet Janis Collection Fund
Second Picture:
“Rays from the sunrise drew forth the buds and stretched them into long stalks, lifted up sap in noiseless streams, opened petals, and sucked out scents in invisible jets and breathings.”
You take amazing photos. The Pollock photo, in particular reminds me of how I felt when I saw his work "live" for the first time at San Francisco's Museum of Modern Art last year. I just stood there and took him in.
I've posted my Wordless Wednesday entry here and hope you'll drop by for a visit:
I guess the sun picture could double as a sunrise and a sunset. All I know is it really set my day off nicely when I was walking out to the truck to go to work. I am lucky I live on top of a hill. If I could just get my neighbor to lower his house a little  I would be able to make some panoramic pictures.
Thanks for visiting and I hope everyone has a Happy WW and a great rest of the week.
I saw a huge Jackson Pollock painting at the U. of Iowa museum of all places. Apparently the taught there once and left them a large painting. The sunset is quite impressive. Must be the pollution from China?
