Monochrome Sunflower
Black and White Sunflower Helianthus annuus (hee-lee-AN-thus) (AN-yoo-us)
I came from WW and was going to comment on the above flower with the bees, but I had to say something on this one; so simplistically beautiful! I love it. This sucker glows; nice job.
What a cool picture! You are gonna love all the photo opportunities you will have when you visit Maui..I'm sure you already know to visit all of the botanical gardens. Don't forget The Lavender farm..they've got lots of diff flowers too :)

I really like this one. We're used to seeing the flowers in color, but I like how the monochrome focuses us on the shapes and the light.
