I have decided to join the blogging craze. I am looking forward to taking a moment to find out a little more about the plants I have been photographing. I hope to explore all aspects of plants, flowers, trees and other garden related topics. Sorry about having to watermark the photos but there are a lot of people using them without permission.

I love the contrast in this picture. So pretty!
This one really works in the black and white, with the simplicity and sharp contrast.
It's been a while since I have seen or thought about phlox. We had them in our outdoor gardens when I was a kid.
Very nice. you know you could crop it really close and make folks guess what bloom it is. Such a perfect shaped bloom.
Merry Christmas Chris!
Wow -- that's awesome in black and white.
The white stands out so decidedly in this medium. that I don't feel sorry for dogs and cats any more ;) Happy WW
