I have decided to join the blogging craze. I am looking forward to taking a moment to find out a little more about the plants I have been photographing. I hope to explore all aspects of plants, flowers, trees and other garden related topics. Sorry about having to watermark the photos but there are a lot of people using them without permission.

French Marigold
French Marigold Tagetes patula 'Bonanza Orange' (TAG-e-teez) (PAT-yoo-luh)
When we were small, dad used to get these for Mother's Day and we'd plant them all over the place mom. A special flower. Your post stirs up some happy memories.

Beautiful orange, especially against those dark green leaves. I like the composition as well.
Beautiful.
This grows here easily.
Beautiful. I always think of Hans Christian Anderson and the inchworm poem when I see marigolds!
