I have decided to join the blogging craze. I am looking forward to taking a moment to find out a little more about the plants I have been photographing. I hope to explore all aspects of plants, flowers, trees and other garden related topics. Sorry about having to watermark the photos but there are a lot of people using them without permission.

Rare indeed where winter temps drop to well below 0 F. The texture somehow reminds me of the back of my hand - except it's a deeper green :)
Excellent macro shots. I love the texture of that foliage
Oh wow this is amazing! I wanna be like u when I grow up;)

Looks totally different up close, like the surface of some alien planet!

Quite glorious. Or should I say I'm 'green with envy.' [Sorry, just couldn't resist.]
