Valentine’s Day Roses

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!

This one is 'Julia Child'

I found some old rose photos that I hadn’t gone through before, mainly since they were not marked with names. So for Valentine’s Day I mustered up half a dozen digital rose pictures. There was a rose festival on this blog that started on September 30, 2007 and continued for several days in October if you would like to see some named roses.

Molly is home and doing as well as expected. I have my hands full with helping her so I won’t be saying much here over the next couple of days. There is a long road of recovery ahead and we are certainly not out of the woods yet. It has been worth it so far to have a few more days with a trusted and faithful friend. Thanks for the emails and comments of support, that really meant a lot to me.

This probably adds up to a couple of dozen roses. I think this is 'Eureka'

How thankful I am that you are able to have the few more days, maybe even longer, with dear Molly. And how thankful I am to see the beautiful roses you've given to us for Valentine's.

Our little dog Duncan is ill, too, with pancreatitis and has been in and out of the vet for a few weeks now. He just might be improving today. We certainly hope so, especially my Mama who comes home tomorrow from her hospitalization/skilled nursing facility six weeks' event.

That's a beautiful field of yellow roses. I hope Molly will get well soon. Thank you for your comment about Alcatraz on my blog.

Lynette, thanks I have been pulling for little Duncan since I read about him.

avcr8teur, The yellow roses were amazing. That photo only shows about a 1/4 of the roses. Thanks about Molly, she is doing better but still has a long way to go, Re: your site. It is always a pleasure to stop by there and see your great pictures.

regina, thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.
