I have decided to join the blogging craze. I am looking forward to taking a moment to find out a little more about the plants I have been photographing. I hope to explore all aspects of plants, flowers, trees and other garden related topics. Sorry about having to watermark the photos but there are a lot of people using them without permission.
I think it is called 'false' is that it resembles the more traditional sunflower but has distinct differences like being perennial. It is its own species but also related on the botanical family level. Both are in the Compositae (Daisy) family.

Absolutely stunning, especially with the slightly off-center crop.
I'm partial to Daisies or all colors and this is breath taking. Also love the black and white Daisy below.
