That is a lonely but peaceful-looking place. Really gorgeous. I like this angle. You're outside, yet so close. Thank you!

Love that picture! It looks like something you would see in a magazine.

I do think this looks like a cemetary should look - there's a feeling of mournfulness about it.

Beautiful shot!

Btw, do we need a good camera just to get a good shot or photography is a matter of skill?

Mine is up at Photographic Memories.

raquel. thanks. That is a good question. I shot this with my $199 Nikon CoolPix 5400 that I bought on close out. I also have limited technical training as a photographer. I think you need a little luck to be at the right place at the right time. At Taos Pueblo you are going to need ten bucks, too. For a photography permit :-O

Hi digiflower. Thanks for the quick reply and the ideas. I am an amateur of photography though, still playing with and learn all the techniques.

See yah around...enjoy the rest of the week.

I'm not sure I can find the words to express the emotions this picture brought me; suffice it to say, I'm all choked up.

I love the southwest, need to head out there again sometime soon. And even more generally, I continue to want to find quiet, interesting places like this.

Thanks to all the WW visitors. I am going to try and catch up with a few of your blogs during the week.

Taos Pueblo and Taos, New Mexico in general are great places to shoot pictures. I would recommend them for that purpose. This graveyard has a lot of history to it.

I have some other pictures of Santa Fe and Taos, New Mexico on my other site (use the link in the side bar).

Again thanks for stopping by.
