I have decided to join the blogging craze. I am looking forward to taking a moment to find out a little more about the plants I have been photographing. I hope to explore all aspects of plants, flowers, trees and other garden related topics. Sorry about having to watermark the photos but there are a lot of people using them without permission.

This tree was developed at Rutgers University and is a cross between Eastern Dogwood (Cornus florida) and Oriental Dogwood (Cornus kousa).
Beautiful. It's wonderful to see dogwoods in bloom so late into the spring. Their ghostly white flowers light the woods.
Dogwoods are so beautiful; even when the blossoms fall, they carpet the ground like a blanket of snow.
